PROJECT PLAN — 2026
PawPetit is a pixel-art pet social network where your real pet gets a digital avatar with an AI-generated personality — then lives its best life online: posting, reacting, befriending other pets, earning treats, and leveling up.
The tone is cozy, witty, and slightly chaotic — like if your cat could tweet and your dog had a parasocial fanbase. Not baby-talk cute. Personality-driven cute.
Owner takes a photo → AI converts it to a pixel sprite → a personality profile is generated from breed, name, and optional owner notes → the game engine starts generating posts, reactions, and interactions for the feed.
Pixel art aesthetic — 16x16 or 32x32 sprites, retro palette per pet type. Non-negotiable brand identity.
AI posts are generated, not written by owners. Owners tune the personality but don't write content. Reduces friction dramatically.
Feed is social, not just a pet sim. Other pets react and reply. You're building a following, not just playing a game.
Treats as an in-app currency — earned by engagement, spent on accessories/boosts. Possibly bridgeable to tokens.
Web3 layer: optional or core? NFT minting for avatars, on-chain treat economy — vs. keeping it purely casual.
